RCBS Pro Melt 2 lead furnace

I have used an original Pro Melt since the 1980's.
I had to replace it because repair parts were no longer available. After 8 hrs of use I've found the Pro Melt 2 very difficult to use because I had to raise the pot 10.5 " higher than the old Pro Melt just to be able to visually align the pour spout with the mold.
On the bright side, the furnace does heat up and maintain temp OK.
Otherwise I am not a happy camper will will likely return this pot.

it take forever to heat up , then it leaks like a sieve, even after taken the nozzle out and use 320 valve girding compound on it, doesn't leak as bad but still leaks , and i can't go away from it because the lead will lead out , and what this all about don't let lead drop below an inch , in the pot , how are you to switch lead or clean the pot , i'm better off using my used Lyman mag 20 , it heats up fast , and doesn't leak , very unhappy , RCBS used to do better

It's true you can cast quality bullets with any furnace. The difference to be found is how much time you spend adjusting the temperature on less expensive furnaces so your bullets come out nice and shiny pretty much all the time. Besides the "set it and leave it" thermostat system the pour is adjustable as well!
