The benefits to shooting are numerous and include: The coating molecularly bonds to the bullet totally encapsulating it. Coating prevents lead to bore contact. Less smoke as associated with traditional lubed bullets. Range Friendly!! Bullets feed well in automated bullet feeders. Shoot higher velocities without lead fouling. Can be shot through polygonal rifling.

Uberti EMF Hartford 1873 32-20
Shot 2 bullets, everything else the same, new Starline ,Trail Boss powder, same powder load, @ 7 yards, outdoors, CCI primer same lot#. ACME 32-20(.313) 115gr RN FP BULLET COATED shot excellent group, prefect on vertical axis, which shows me great accuracy, but operator error (it was cold, I was cold, and I left my prescription shooting glasses at home. It also shot point of aim. 3 inch vertical string all shots on axis.
The Lyman 100gr LRN (.311) shot 4" low and all over the map.
As good as the ACME shot why would I waste my time looking for something else?

I bought this bullet to use in Ruger Single Seven .327 mag. Finally got around to shooting it the other day and very happy with performance/accuracy. Highly recommend if you want something heavier than the 100 gr.
