Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

The .500 Special was introduced in 2004 by Corbon for use with reduced loads in the .500 S&W Magnum revolvers. With a case length equal to a 44 magnum (.350 shorter than standard .500 S&W Mag) it allows users to shoot with dramatically less recoil while still retaining performance greater than the 44 Magnum.

I first looked for this brass, through the manufacturer. These guys beat their price by $.03 a piece. Same exact product, at a better price. You can’t beat that. Not to mention a great company to do business with.
