Product Information
The Lee Factory Crimp die crimps the bullet in place more firmly than any other tool. It is impossible to buckle the case as with regular roll crimp dies. Trim length is not critical.

Worth a Try

I have seen the arguments regarding using a FCD on a non-cannulure bullet. Some swear by it, others say do not use it. For the price, I decided it was worth a try. Adjustment is very easy and it is possible to provide a light crimp without deforming the bullet.
I had interesting results, loading .223 using 75 gr Hornady BTHP-M bullet. With Accurate 2520 the light FCD crimp improved my 100 yard grouping over a light taper crimp. With Ramshot TAC I did not notice any real difference. Overall, my best combination is the A2520 with a light FCD crimp.
