Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

Basic UNFORMED brass

I bought these cases thinking they were fully formed but when I opened the package the shoulders and neck are not formed..
I will hang onto these and go on a hunt for the FL size dies I need to complete my project. (I have several friends who reload) In the mean time will also be sending a fired case to order more cases.
Just the same, I am NOT happy about the lack of clarity in the description.

First Time Buyer BEWARE

I bought these cases thinking they were fully formed but when I opened the package the shoulders n neck are not formed...They came as a STRAIGHT WALLED CASE ...YOU have to finish the case from the bottom of the shoulder up.

I bought these cases to set my dies to the correct measurements to form the 257AI...I felt I was mislead in as much as nowhere while ordering it said that you have form your own neck n shoulder...I felt that these cases were fully formed ready to load. (There should be a warning label that these cases need to be formed to XXX and are not the Finnished product....I gave 1star only because it was required!!

Basic Brass

Basically the product is a brass "tube: with a 25i7 Ack Imp headstamp. Product information was not clear, and the retailer had no idea where to get a set of dies by which these cases could be formed into a usable shape.
Returned brass and had to pay for shipping as well
Not doing business here again.
