WEATHERBY AMMO 338WBY RPM 225gr HORNADY INTERLOCK 20/bx 10/cs

Rifles aren’t available for this new Weatherby cartridge as of today (9-2-22); however grafs.com sent an e-mail asking me to review it. Probably because I am one of the few who has bought some. All I can say is the ammunition is high quality like all Weatherby ammo. Also, using ballistics charts for both this cartridge and the .338 Winchester Magnum, this cartridge is very slightly more powerful with bullets around 225 grains. It is designed for .30-06 sized actions that weigh 4.9 -5.6 pounds, which Weatherby will provide soon (I hope). I will be buying a Weatherby Backcountry chambered for this round when they become available. I have full confidence that both the rifle and cartridge will be impressive.
