Lyman molds are made from solid steel and heat-cured to oxidize the metal. This blues the mould and minimizes the time required for the breaking-in process. A steel sprue cutter is included. Accepts Lyman four-cavity mold handles, sold separately.

Mold cavities are ok, but machining on the mold is not finished. I had to finishing tapping the set screw that holds the sprue plate pivot screw so it could be locked. The sprue plate indexing screw has no locking screw so it is always coming loose. When it is tightened hard enough to stay, then the sprue plate can not be closed properly. The plate is too thick to go under the head of the alignment scew or the screw is to short. Overall machining is quite poor.
