Some people have very valid reasons to go with a .22 LR for defensive carry. The ability to operate a semiautomatic pistol slide easily and recoil sensitivity being foremost among them. Based on my experience with CCI .22 LR Stinger ammunition, it is at the top of the heap when considering a non-magnum rimfire round for defensive carry. Stinger rounds are one hundred percent reliable in my KelTec P17 and very accurate.

I have a few semi auto's that are picky when it comes to cycling , no more feed problems or extracting the spent casing . have run 75-100 shots with no problems . very accurate as well.
