Missouri Bullet Company bullets are “Hardness-Optimized” for your intended application. Every box of bullets displays the BHN (Brinell Hardness Number), which is constantly sampled and monitored. Specially created alloys determine the bullet hardness which varies based on the intended caliber and application. Once you try bullets optimized for the velocity of the loads you shoot, you'll never buy another manufacturer's cast bullet! This is not loaded ammunition.

hardness optimized

I have fired these in handloads from various Ruger and Smith .44 mags. They are the first commercial bullets I've found that leave no trace of lead behind. My S&W 29 was notorious for leading--but no more.
