Mechanical hinge boxes! Lids lay flat and never have to worry about the lids creeping closed. Really durable. MTM took a 4 star product and made it a solid 5 stars. The translucent plastic is nice too, light enough to see whats in the boxes.

The lid has a real long lasting hinge. Also once opened, they stay open instead of closing on your fingers as you withdraw cartridges.

The new hinges MTM is making are great! The box won't close on your hand while you're pulling out the cartridges. I wish they had made these hinges so many years ago when I bought most of my MTM ammo boxes.
