Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

 Happy to get these for my nice .280 FN Mauser

These appear to be high quality and I don't need to make .280 Rem brass from .30-06 or .270W and skip multiple steps including annealing, fire forming, or short brass. The .280 is a good cartridge but brass can be difficult to find. I plan to do the usual case prep and I am confident of good results using my established 139 SST load.

I recently bought a savage M110 barrel chambered in .280 Remington/7mm Remington Express. Scarcity of affordable brass meant that case forming would be necessary. As I prepared a batch of RP .30-06 Springfield cases for annealing, these (Nosler) factory cases "popped up" at Graf & Sons. Brass is nice looking with tight primer pockets, average case OAL of 2.534" (2.533"-2.536") and ding-free mouths and bodies. As for the issue of longevity, I'm only on my initial loading which is conservative, so only time will tell.
