Product Information

The Nosler Partition is still the benchmark by which all modern bullets are measured. Nosler’s special lead-alloy, dual-core provides superior mushrooming characteristics at virtually all impact velocities.  The fully tapered copper-alloy jacket ruptures instantly at the thin jacket mouth, yet the gradual thickening along the bullet’s axis controls expansion and curls the jacket uniformly outward at high and low velocities.  Nosler’s integral partition supports the expanded mushroom and retains the rear lead-alloy core. The enclosed rear core retains more than two-thirds of the original bullet weight for deep penetration.  Every Partition® bullet in the Nosler® line delivers optimum length, weight and ogive design for maximum in-flight and terminal performance.

This is not loaded ammunition.

Great game bullet for the 25 caliber rifles

By Robert M. on May 18, 2020
I used this bullet for deer and elk in the 80s and 90s in my 257 Roberts at about 2900 fps. I switched to a 257 Weatherby in the early 2000s and moved to the TTSX Barnes bullet due to the really high velocity (3700). These were the days before affordable good laser rangefinders so point blank range really mattered. I hunted mostly Coues whitetail in AZ at long range (regular shots to 500 yards). I recently acquired a custom Mauser 250-3000 with a 1-10" twist. It shoots 5 of these into a inch at 100 yards at about 2700 fps. With a laser and BDC scope I'm now set to 500 yards on deer with a really classic and mild cartridge. The partition had shot through most every thing I've shot with it and when stopped always has mushroomed perfectly. Flat shooting and accurate it really is still my favorite after all these year.
