For use on a mechanical rest. This bag was designed for use on most common hunting rifle stocks used today. Has narrow hollow center to accommodate most hunting rifles. All Leather.
The bag measures approximately 1-1/2" - 1-3/4" inbetween the ears and has a base size of 2 1/4" W x 5 3/4" L x 1" H. Made in the U.S.A 100%.

most durable front rest available

I use the narrow bag on all my sporter weight rifles when developing accuracy loads. I have no medium or wide fore ends so only need this one size. Wider ones are available for target guns. My cast iron rifle rest came with a cheap nylon bag that rubbed through in less than one year of use. No issues at all with this leather Protektor rest. I suspect it will last into the next generation, and it nicely matches my bunny ear rear bag. I carry a scrap piece of denim material to cover it with for revolver shooting off of the same rest, works perfect.
