Precise

By Walter H. on May 22, 2019
I own 3 other brands of case trimmers and this is the only one that trims to +- .001". I use it from .223 rem all the way up to 45-70 (collet maxed out) and several std and magnums between. I mounted mine on a board with rubber backing and C clamp it to the edge of my bench for stability. Helps keep everything stable and results in a smoother trim surface at case end. I found setup and adjustments are quite easy to do. A bit pricey but worth it.

Learning curve

By Stephen E. on Apr 23, 2019
There are a couple of additions to this unit that make the collet fit longer cases better, although the learning curve is clumsier. The cutter holder still fits the RCBS 3 way. The weak spot at the crank concerning size adjustment has been cancelled with the micrometer. I wonder if, after time, the cutter shaft will shift and rotate as the retaining screw wears.
