Upgrade your die sets with a carbide size button kit. Makes inside neck sizing smoother and easier without lubrication. The carbide size button is free floating on the decap rod allowing it to self- center in the case neck. Kits contain: carbide size button, retainer and spare decapping pin.

Upgrade of a Redding sizer die

I have been using Redding dies for years. I also have been using carbide expanders in all of my various mfg. dies.
They work very well, and when I saw that a Redding upgrade to a carbide expander was available, I ordered 2.
I use them in my 22-250 dies, and just make the job easier.

Reduce Case Prep Time

The standard neck expander requires some form of lube when neck sizing. That extra step can be eliminated by using the carbide expander ball (in most cases--virgin brass sometimes needs a little graphite or mica if you are truing up the case mouths.)
I can usually get by with no lube on fired cases using the carbide ball and the titanium neck bushing.
