 My Go-To in .243 Win

Been using these for years. Have achieved sub-MOA in multiple rifles with them. They expand very well on groundhogs and coyotes, yet will do the job on deer as well. This means no load swapping between hunts. I doubted the BC at first, but it has met the trajectory map for it. Add in the low price and you have a perfect bullet for the caliber. I am building a couple 6mm ARC's and will see how they do in that as well soon.

These have long been my dual purpose bullet loaded in a 243. They are an excellent deer bullet and with the same loading serve as an excellent bullet on tough groundhogs at long distances, 400+ yards. They very accurate and VERY VERY affordable.

Good Multi-use Bullet

The Speer 85 grain .243 Win. is pretty versatile. Use it on whitetails and larger varmints. Penetrates and expands well.
Also, inexpensive enough to shoot year-round.

Can't beat Speer for the money

I've only shot paper and steel with these so far. The bullets look great and for the price they can't be beat. They shoot great in my 6mm in a AR platform. These will be what I use if I ever decide to use this particular rifle to deer hunt. I haven't figured out why Speer bullets are nearly half price of other popular brands, I've had great results with all the Speer bullets I've used for many years.

I have bullets from a variety of manufacturers. I have always found Speer to very competitive on their pricing and the bullets have always given more than acceptable results. While I have yet to shoot this specific bullet, I expect it to perform as well as any other Speer product that I have use previously.

Speer is my go to for reloading.
