SIERRA 45(.4515)240gr JHC BULLET SPORT MASTER 100/b
Product Information
The 240 grain #8820 Jacketed Hollow Cavity SportsMaster bullet was introduced in 1977 in response to requests for a "standard" weight bullet for the 45 Colt cartridge. The skived PowerJacket was added in 1984, making this bullet an excellent choice for 45 Colt vintage or modern handguns. Vintage models usually had a .454 inch diameter bore. However, modern Colt, Ruger, Smith & Wesson, Taurus, and most other handguns, including replicas of the Colt Single Action Army, will have barrels with a .451 inch bore. This bullet can be used in vintage 45 Colt handguns, but sizing cases may require special attention in older reloading dies. The 240 grain #8820 bullet has a cannelure for roll crimping, and it may be loaded into 45 Colt cartridges to be used in rifles with tubular magazines. This bullet is very effective for hunting because of the reliable expansion of the hollow cavity PowerJacket design and trademark Sierra accuracy. The reliable expansion characteristics of this bullet make it suitable for cartridges ranging from the 45 ACP up through moderate loads (up to 1400 fps) in the 454 Casull for either hunting or target competition.
This is not loaded ammunition.

SIERRA 45(.4515)240gr JHC BULLET

I shoot these bullets in my Rossi Tuffy .410/45 colt. They shoot very well with a load of blue dot at 1046 fps, makes it a fun little rifle to shoot. I carry it on my 4 wheeler with me when I go up in the woods to cut fire wood. You can't go wrong with Sierra bullets. and the price per 100 is reasonable. As always Graf ships fast.

Great .45 Colt bullet

I've been shooting these since 2012, when a buddy was getting out of reloading and sold me some of his gear. I've taken deer and have been impressed with them on those. Good accuracy and at 50 yards with my .45 Colt 5.5" blackhawk, I'm getting about 2" groups (with scope) and about 6" without.
Great bullet for the .460 Rowland

I have shot this bullet from the .460 Rowland and 45 Colt/ The bullet performs great on thin skinned game and gets great velocity from the .460. Because of the diameter it works great in the 460 and 45 Super. In 45 Colts it only gets great velocity from the 7.5" barrels. The bullet being undersized in a .452" bore takes a little more barrel for pressures to ramp up. The only problem with the bullet is that it isn't available all of the time.
Super Accurate!

These are loaded for my Ruger Blackhawk .45 Colt and my Cimarron 1892 .45 Colt. I have found them to be extremely accurate in both firearms and they are bad news for whatever is on the receiving end of them. I would recommend these to anyone that needs an accurate, reliable bullet.
