BERRY 40 (.401) 180gr RN BULLET ROUND-NOSE 1000/bx
Product Information
Berry's Preferred Plated bullets begin as a swaged lead core. The swaged lead cores are tumbled in an electrically charged bath containing high-grade copper ingots. The copper clings to the lead and the longer the bullets remain in the bath, the thicker the plating. The bullets are plated to the correct size and then taken out of the bath. Plated bullets are not as expensive as jacketed bullets. They are cleaner than lead but you'll want to stay away from magnum velocities when loading plated bullets. This is not loaded ammunition.

We Love Berry's 10mm RN
By Milton V. on Jun 08, 2023Berry's 180 gr. RN 10mm bullet
By Brent C. on Jun 07, 2018I am loading these in 10mm cases for the S&W 610, but these bullets will be equally at home in the new Ruger 10mm options as well as the less common .40 Chiappa or rare S&W 646. Whatever you're using, these make for fast reloading.
If I had the choice between using a chamfered cylinder with conventional FP 10mm bullets or a stock cylinder with the Berry's RN, I'd go for the Berry's in a heart beat. The moonclip load of ammo guides itself into the cylinder.
These work equally well in autoloaders, so if you have both there is no need to stock two different bullet profiles.
This is a much needed product. With more 10mm revolvers on the market, as well as the surge in 10mm sales in general, this bullet should be the standard for many reloaders.

What started as a small dream has become a multi-million dollar international business
selling ammunition, reloading supplies and accessories.
