Product Information

Berry's Preferred Plated bullets begin as a swaged lead core. The swaged lead cores are tumbled in an electrically charged bath containing high-grade copper ingots. The copper clings to the lead and the longer the bullets remain in the bath, the thicker the plating.  The bullets are plated to the correct size and then taken out of the bath. Plated bullets are not as expensive as jacketed bullets.  They are cleaner than lead but you'll want to stay away from magnum velocities when loading plated bullets.  This is not loaded ammunition.

Have used a good number of these in 38 and 357 for plinking fun, great bullet for that role.
Excellent service and shipping from Graf's as usual.

Have ordered these bullets a number of times and they shoot true and are a joy to reload! Good quality and will reorder again - many thanks!

grea bullet for targets

I load more 38 than any other caliber, and with medium to low loads they are very accurate. The price makes it my choice for reloading..

Not for R-P (Remington Peters) .38 Special Headstamp Brass

By Joshua P. on Jul 25, 2019
The bullets were fine and all measured .357" in diameter with my calipers.

Be aware that brass with the R-P headstamp in .38 special is thinner than other makes. This caused little to no neck tension with these bullets. Brass of other headstamps worked perfectly fine with these bullets. Use .358" caliber for R-P headstamped brass.

I've used Berry's Bullets in other calibers with R-P Headstamps before with no issues (although I've read 45 ACP can have the same issue) but have only run across this problem with my .38 Specials.
