Lyman Precision Die Sets are crafted on state of the art computer controlled equipment insuring that each die is perfectly dimensioned. Each rifle sizing die is vented, polished, heat treated for toughness and then receives a final micro-finish polish for extra smoothness. Lyman 3 die sets are available for straight wall cases loading either cast or jacketed bullets.

Lyman 5.7x28 Die Set

I’ve tried RCBS, Hornady, and Lee die sets for 5.7x28. The Lyman set has thus far performed the best. It has been the least likely set to remove the case coating during the resizing operation. My only criticism for the set is the shell holder. Would like to see Lyman come out with a shell holder without the priming hole. This would offer better support for the 5.7x28’s fragile case rim.
