Saves on the hands

By John N. on Dec 11, 2018
Yes this does save on time with case prep. Yes it makes chamfering easier/quicker. But the real plus is that it saves on fatigue in your hands when having to remove primer crimps from brass. My only complaint so far is that it only has two storage locations on each side.

Case Prep Trio

By SCOTT M. on Aug 16, 2018
I have previously owned the Hornady case prep assistant. This had a single spindle to hold 8-32 threaded tools.
I have since upgraded to the trio. I have been able to remove the primer crimp shoulder from over 1000 Lake City brass cases, along with chamfer and ream the necks of 1850 pistol cases.

I do have reservations about the construction of this machine, but for the price... I can work with it.

Hornady case prep trio

On my 3rd trimmer and it is broken! Good idea but this unit has inferior gears....they break and or disintegrate even with light use. They use cheap plastic gears, not nylon, brass or metal which are unsatisfactory! I have spent more time sending these back than using them.
