For reloaders who choose to retain the fire formed dimensions of their cases rather than resizing the entire case, neck sizing-only dies fit a definite need. Although they only work the necks of cases, they do eliminate some problems associated with excessive headspace. Neck sizing can also prolong case life. Should be used for cases fired in bolt-action rifles only. Shellholder sold separately.

6.5 Neck sizer

This is a very nice die that works well on my 6.5 CM and my 6.5 Sweed. It will not work on my 6.5 TCU due to the fact that the TCU neck is expanded up from 22 to 6.5 and there is not enough expanded brass left in the neck to be sized down again to hold the projectile firmly. The length of the die is proper to do all three cases.
