Product Information

The Hornady® line of traditional Varmint™ bullets features a streamlined design for flat trajectory. Its lead core and match-grade copper jacket represent the original standard created by Joyce Hornady for classic varmint hunting. Primarily comprised of spire point profiles and flat base designs, the bullets perform extremely well even at low velocities and deliver excellent performance in many classic varmint rifles.

 Not the best performers, but good value

I bought a couple thousand of these a few years ago. They shoot acceptably for the price. They're bulk bullets, they shoot like bulk bullets. I use them mostly for bulk ammo for short range practice.

-1 Star for the average accuracy. I was never able to wring more than 2 inches out of them out of my AR's.

Can't beat this bullet for the money easy loading and very accurate. I just bought 6000 and will be buying more.i would recommend these to a friend

HORNADY VARMINT 55gr SP

Got a bag of 500 and loved the constant bullet length. Buying a 100 at a time from the store not only stinks because you spend more money but you also get more inconsistent bullet lengths. With 500 I got a ton of .711, .712, and .713. I got some others either lower or higher but not as much. The sorting is done and cant wait to start reloading.
