I bought these to try in buck and ball shot shells

I didn't feel like casting .575 balls so I purchased these .570 and found a shot cup they fit snuggly in so I can load 20 gauge buck and ball loads. You could use #2 buck but I have #4 so that what I'm using. Eight pellets of #4 on the bottom, buffered and then the .570 ball, covered with an over shot card for peace of mind, but the buffer isn't leaking past the ball. They are accurate even out of a short smooth cylinder bore with Lyman published one ounce Herco data.

Getting hard to find. got a few boxes to have for my T/C big boar hunting rifle to practice and hunt with. Hornady lead balls are true and very accurate

Very uniform in both size and weight. Shoots quite accurately as a patched ball in my T/C smoothbore barrel.
