Lyman 6.5 Creedmoor Case Length Headspace Gauge

To achieve the highest degree of safety and accuracy, inspect all bottleneck rifle cases to ensure that the proper headspace dimension is maintained. The best way to check this critical dimension is with a Lyman case length/headspace gauge. The reloader simply inserts the case into the gauge to insure that it does not exceed the maximum or fall below the minimum allowable headspace. In addition, the gauge will identify a case which exceeds the maximum allowable case length.

Shooting different 6.5 Creedmoor rifles using the same brass for each rifle I was having trouble getting it to size properly. Not anymore! This headspace gauge solved the problem.

I use Lyman case length/headspace gauges for every cartridge I reload. This is an easy way to determine if your bottleneck cases have been properly "bumped" and will chamber properly. These are precision ground tools that work perfectly every time.
