Product Information

 The hard cast bullet is cast with 92-6-2 certified alloy (BHN 16), then coated with the Hi-Tek coating and heat cured to anneal to the lead alloy.   After the bullets are coated they are then sized to .458 for final product.  The benefits to shooting with the Hi-Tek line are:  The bullet is completely encapsulated therefore reducing the exposure to  lead.  Less smoke as associated with traditional lubed bullets.  Can shoot higher velocities than regular cast bullets.  Safe in Polygonal rifling.

This is not  loaded ammunition.

 Working well in my T/C Encore 26" Barrel

I've been testing these out in my TC Encore and they have worked great, very clean. Accuracy has been good so far at lower (1300) velocity but I have no doubt I can raise that up and still get excellent results.

Was just looking to try some coated bullets in the 1895 to see how they'd compare with factory jacketed. Wasn't expecting much. To my surprise they are grouping better and with less felt recoil. Using 53.5 gr 3031. Pleased with these bullets, would buy again if they were in stock.

Very nice finish, sized perfectly to .458...perfect for my application of a low velocity load for my 84 year old father and his browning 1886 45-70.

Excellent quality shoot really accurately out of Remington no1 rolling block I have as another said in there review kicks a lot less than the 405grs.
