ACME Bullet Company’s "Lipstick" bullets are cast bullets with HiTek coating. All bullets are cast with 92-6-2 alloy then coated with HiTek coating that molecularly bonds to the bullet as it cures. This process completely encapsulates the bullet.
The HiTek coating prevents lead to bore contact thus virtually eliminating lead fouling. It also produces less smoke than traditional wax lubed bullets and can be shot at higher velocities without lead fouling. HiTek coated bullets also feed well in automated bullet feeders.
This is not loaded ammunition.

350 grain Acme Rnfp .458 bullet

Its been a while since I bought and loaded these bullets, I have had great luck with them in my 45/70 @ 1800 fps. I cast bullets for all my pistol ammunition and my wife bought me a Smith 460V last year and I have been playing with different loads and decided to go with a heavy bullet to actually utilize the massive case capacity. Long story short I didn't want to invest in a new mold so I sized these bullets from. 458 down to. 452 and used 360 grain data from Hodgdon manual 2023. The crimp groove is in the perfect spot for my revolver. I'm pushing this bullet @1620 fps and it shoots absolutely beautiful but the recoil is not for the faint of heart. Excellent bullets either way you intend them in a 45/70 or resize like I did. Graf ships pretty quickly as well and has always been a wonderful company to do business with.

I've used Acme bullets in 9mm, 45 ACP, and these for my 45-70. Always satisfied with them.

I recently received my order came quickly and in nice wooden box to my surprise. I am reloading these for my 458 socom rifle as ammo cheapest that I could find is around $1.50 a round. Bullets are well made and coated. I took my first batch hunting and ended up running into a group of Texas hogs. I put three of them down they laid there where I shot them. Hogs didn't run after a round was in them. Great plinking or hunting round. Next is to get heavier weight to suppress my rifle. Will by again for sure.

Nicely-coated bullets with consistent weight and dimension.
Unfortunately, my seating die tends to scrape off areas of coating unless the bullet is perfectly vertical at the beginning. Not the manufacturer's fault, though.
My one request would be to have only one lube ring (or none) on the bullet since it does not need lube. That would increase bearing surface and may improve accuracy.
