Best Load for this Cartridge

The .300 Weatherby is fast so it needs a strong bullet for good penetration. There’s nothing better than a Scirocco and the 180 grain bullet is the ideal weight. Based on my experience, you can expect a small entrance hole, a larger exit hole, and complete penetration on any big game except elk, moose, and the big bears. Accuracy is outstanding. You won’t be disappointed with this ammunition.
