ACME 45 COLT (.452) 255gr SWC BULLET COATED 100/BX
Product Information
The 45 Colt 255 SWC coated bullet is hard cast with 92-6-2 certified alloy (BHN 16) and is then coated with HI-Tek Coating and heat cured. The coating and heat curing process is done 3 times to ensure consistency. The bullet is then sized to .452.
The benefits to shooting Hi-Tek coated bullets are: No lead to bore contact, less smoke as associated with traditional lubed bullets, you can shoot higher velocities without lead fouling, and the non-lube groove design is safe in polygonal rifling.
This is not loaded ammunition.

First thing, these are packed in the coolest mini wooden chests. They're every bit as accurate as their non-coated brothers. Seem to ease barrel leading somewhat. They feel much nicer (safer?) to handle. And they are just way prettier to look at. Five stars. Will always choose in future, if available.

I hope no one reads this. I want these all for myself.
7" barrel or 4.2" - most accurate I've found yet. Seems immune to light load to top end loads on flight path affect.
Set depth adjusted and the red stays on the bullet still. Great manufacturing.

I saw a review in the April issue of Guns Magazine of Acme bullets and thought I would give them a try. I have to say I am really pleased with the accuracy I got in my replica SAA with these bullets (Comparable with more expensive bullets). I also like the way they come shipped in their own wooden box.
