Solid, Quality Finish, One Size Can Fit All

My first press was the Hornady Lock n Load Classic. Initially, I had it mounted straight to the bench. As I acquired additional tools for case prep it was apparent that I needed a mounting system that provided flexibility, while allowing me to bring the equipment up to a comfortable level. When Hornady introduced the Hornady L-N-L Quick Detach mounting system I saw the solution I'd been waiting for. First, the initial mounting system cost around $55. The mount instructions are clear, and installation was effortless. The versatility come in the additional Quick Detach plates. These are high quality steel plates, finished with flawless black enamel, and predrilled with mounting holes to accommodate the Hornady line of reloading presses and tools. However, I've mounted other presses with the addition of a few holes, with the plate being solid enough that no loss of integrity occurs from careful placement and drilling.
I've purchased multiple plates, each dedicated to a different press or case prep tool, allowing a quick swap out as needed. My latest plate required that I drill 3 additional holes, as only one existing bolt hole lined up to my Frankford Arsenal M-Press. Mounting my Lyman Brass Smith All-American 8 Turret Press only required one new hole.
This is a great system, and highly recommended for anyone with limited bench space, as well as someone looking for a high quality steel mounting system that won't break the bank.
