Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

Product Information

All 50 count listings of Peterson Cartridge casings come in one of their plastic ammo boxes.

Made in the U.S.A.

NOTE: If you plan to load above SAAMI max pressure and are concerned about primer-pocket leak, Peterson recommends you try the 6mm Creedmoor SRP. While they do not suggest loading over SAAMI max pressures, Peterson's small primer pocket 6mm Creedmoor have proven to hold up over SAAMI max pressures when tested in their universal receiver.

Warning: Only use Peterson Cartridge Co. casings in firearms in good condition, designed, marked, and chambered for this cartridge. Do not use Peterson Cartridge Co casings for “fire forming” or any other purpose other than what they were designed and tested for. Peterson retains no responsibility for the enclosed casings if they are used outside of the manufacturer’s recommendations.

This is not loaded ammunition.

Superior Quality

By Brad J. on Feb 16, 2023
I have used Peterson brass for some time now, starting out with the .300 win mag long. Knowing the superior quality after I purchased a new prs rifle, Peterson brass was the only manufacturer I was looking for. Thankfully, Graf &Sons had some in stock. Lil or no case prep and as mentioned, superior quality. I highly recommend.

Peterson 6mm Creedmoor Brass

By Ambrose D. on Jan 24, 2023
Few reloading sources carry Peterson brass so I was pleased when I found it on Grafs. Reasonable priced compared to Lapua, and from the reviews from other reloaders as well as LR and ELR competitive shooters using this in their customs loads, I figured I'd give it a try - I've made worse mistakes in my life.

My regular load printed .28" vs the .38 I was getting with Lapua Brass. Not tremendous improvement but it's a start. Will be buying Peterson brass in a few other calibers. Thanks Grafs!

Peterson 6mm Creedmoor Brass (LRP)

By Michael C. on Aug 22, 2019
This has proven to be among the most consistent brass I have ever used. I reload for .308, 300WM, and 6mm CM. I hope that someday Peterson will make 300WM brass, because it is very difficult to find solid, match-grade brass for 300WM--mostly mid-grade stuff is available. In any case, I cannot recommend Peterson highly enough.

I just bought a Savage 10 GRS in 6mm Creedmoor and I'm doing load development. I decided to try the Peterson Brass because of the price difference compared to the Lapua that I use for 6mm BR Norma. So far I'm really impressed. The weights are very consistent and the neck runout is around .001 or less.
I'm ordering more today.

Peterson Large Primer 6mm CM Brass

By Paul S. on Nov 05, 2018
Purchased to turn into 22 Creedmoor brass. Recommended on several internet forums. Brass seems to be high quality, neck thickness varied from .0155 to .0165", and easily turned to .016". Case weights were consistent between 167 to 169 grains, with 93% ( 140 out of 150 ) being 168 grains. Would recommend. Quick shipping on Graf's part. Great to do business with.
