12 screws, 6 on each ring is a bit over kill me thinks, but it looks cool. Easy to mount scope body with the halves angled instead of the standard drop-in configuration. Supplied is a bubble level that can be mounted either close to the eye or towards the bell of the scope. Good overall application and do recommend this product.
