Product Information

The development of this technology was the result of an animal control agency's request for a no lead .243 bullet that would provide extensive wound trauma with little minimal pass through energy. Basically the idea was to burst the bullet into numerous particles at a predetermined depth creating many wounds and a large temporary cavity with shot placement at or near the central nervous system. The agency had tried copper matrix frangible rounds and found the penetration depth and particle size were less than what was require for proper terminal performance.

 Lehigh 115gr copper are very fast

I been purchasing Lehigh bullet in pistol caliber for years they are great this time I was looking for a hollow point for 6.5 Grendel rifle so purchase these to try.
Be careful with the loading data from Lehigh it maybe too high for some AR rifle for example, the CFE black out load data list xx.x to xxgr last week for first time I shot the .308 115gr AR at powder charge xx.x my chronograph hit 2517 to 2573 this too hot ! Remember, copper bullet need less powder they glide down the barrel easier

Lehigh Defense controlled chaos copper bullets. Anybody thinking of shooting copper whether it be mandatory in your state or not. Unfortunately I live in a state that requires it. I’ve always been one to shoot lead. My concerns have always been pass how old is through shots without hitting solid structure. But I have to say these bullets work they expand and open up great. Now with that being said they are not fur friendly. If you are a predator hunter. I do all my own reloading you can build a load that I will shoot dime and nickel size groups at 100 yards. Hope this helps anybody out there who’s thinking about Giving copper a try. Good luck
