This die removes the flare from the case mouth and crimps case mouth around the bullet while maintaining a sharp edge for proper head-space. Improves feeding of reloaded cases in semi-automatic firearms.

Must have for Plated bullets

I use .44 cal plated bullets for my .44 special reloads
rather than lead bullets to avoid leading.
They are cheaper than FMJ bullets.
The taper die puts just enough tension to prevent set back
but not enough to cut into the plating.
Lee makes great and economical products.
Been using Lee products for 43 years,
I highly recommend this die.
