The Lee Factory Crimp die crimps the bullet in place more firmly than any other tool. It is impossible to buckle the case as with regular roll crimp dies. Trim length is not critical.

Lee Factory Crimp die is my goto method of crimping.

I switched to using a Lee factory crimp dies 22 years ago and haven't looked back. It virtually eliminates the possibility of a kinked case neck from a slightly over length case. On occasion when making odd ball ammo I will still use the taper crimp that is built into the bullet seating dies but 99% of the time I go straight for the factory crimp. Adding a crimp will lessen the standard deviation on your reloads and make them more accurate.
