The Lee Factory Crimp die crimps the bullet in place more firmly than any other tool. It is impossible to buckle the case as with regular roll crimp dies. Trim length is not critical.

Lee Factory Crimp die

I purchased this die because I didn't want to seat and crimp at the same time with my Rcbs die set. I have only used the Lee die once but, it works perfect. I loaded my Cimarron 1894 rifle chambered in 38-55 several times with the ammo I loaded with this crimping die this Deer Season and never had any problems with the bullet being pushed down inside the case under the spring tension of the tubular magazine.
