ROLLSIZER ELECTRIC DRIVE DC W ADAPTER 110V

The rollsizer machines removes the bulge in the base of a fired case to bring the case back into specification to allow reloading. Removing the bulge brings the base of the case back into specification, when combined with the normal sizing dies the case will be very close to the SAAMI specifications.

Compact Electric DC: The DC Electric Drive Rollsizer is suitable for the low to medium volume reloader. The DC electric rollsizer uses a similar rolling methodology as the large scale rollsizer but at a lower cost and processing rate

Machined base plate, adaptor shaft, Drop tube mounting bracket, DC Motor and power supply and 2 x angle iron brackets suitable for mounting / securing to a work bench. Calibre conversion discs and drop tubes are separate and must be ordered separately.

WHY DO CASES NEED ROLLSIZING?

• The full length sizing die cannot reach the base of the case. when cases are rollsized back to a factory dimension the round will feed and chamber reliably. Not every case needs rollsizing, this mainly depends on the chamber in which the case was fired, the powder type and recoil spring used in combination. The most common reason is when cases are recovered that have been used in mainstream carry style firearms with unsupported chambers or looser chambers due to the prerequisite of reliability over accuracy. The brass from these guns can often be re-used but without rollsizing the brass has a very short life and damaged or creased brass is often the result.

HOW LONG WILL BRASS LAST WITH ROLLSIZING?

• Very hard to say, generally much longer than without rollsizing, but too many issues contribute so it is too hard to state exactly. The designer of the rollsizers is a qualified mechanical engineer who gets over 40 reloads with rollsizing with regular starline / federal / winchester brass. There is no evidence of fatigue in the brass with rollsizing from any of the customers who reuse their brass.

DO I HAVE TO RESIZE THE CASES AFTER ROLLSIZING?

• Yes, all rollsizing processes require cases to be resized afterwards.The rollsizing only effects the bottom 1/3rd – 1/4 of the case. the normal sizing die will handle the rest.
• The resizing process is usually part of the reloading process so no additional effort is required.

I WANT TO SIZE PISTOL AND RIFLE CASES, CAN IT DO IT?

• Yes, the rollsizers will process most pistol and rifle cases up a 308Win (7.62×51 Nato) case. The machine cannot do belted magnum cases. Rollsizer conversions have been made for 9mm, 38S&W, 38Super/38SC, 38Special/ 357mag, 40 S&W, 45ACP, 44mag, 308Win and 223/ 5.56Nato.
• Other calibres are being released regularly as required.  Calibre conversions are simple, unscrew the centre disc retaining bolt and install the new calibre specific disc, adjust the casefeeder height (in some situations the feed tube to the case pusher needs to change) and you are good to go. Calibre Conversions are sold separately.

The rollsizers are very high quality and are significantly cheaper than any comparable alternative. Rollsizer's current best round count on a commercial rollsizer is over 20 million cases, yes, they are commercial quality. One of their customers is running a DC in a commercial application and is currently at 700,000 cases+ and still going (not bad for only 5 months).

Please note these rollsizers are made on an industrial fabrication process and minor marks and imperfections are expected on the support brackets.

All the machines size cases the same way, the main difference is the processing speed and price.
