This Flat Base Raptor™ comes with tips already installed. Instead of mushrooming, these hollow points are designed so that after 1-2" of penetration, 6 blades break off and radiate outward in a start pattern while the base continues on for even deeper penetration. A minimum impact velocity of 1400fps is required for the hollow point to function as intended.
This is not loaded ammunition.

I got these to shoot out of my 9.3X62 I made from a Swedish Mauser. I was looking for less weight for a little more range and a point that was less blunt to help with feeding from the magazine. These are a winner on both fronts. They are accurate.
