Norma Bondstrike is an advanced hunting cartridge design, based on a bonded boat-tail bullet with ballistic tip for extreme performance at the highest possible ranges.
This 6.5mm variant is quite a new development, created in 2007 by a cooperation between Hornady and Creedmoor Sports and was designed as a long range target shooting cartridge. The 6.5mm bullet has long been known to be an excellent long range bullet, as the projectiles have good sectional densities and ballistic coefficients and the 6,5 Creedmoor has become very popular for long range hunting. The case is on the shorter side so it can be chambered in a short action rifle.

This is excellent ammo! It is accurate out my 2020 waypoint. The on game performance is outstanding as it does not explode and leave bullet fragments in the meat. I was previously using the eld-x and was tired of all the bloodshot meat and bullet shrapnel. These have a very similar B.C. And the bonding seems good. I only have a small sample of 2 deer and 2 coyotes. All 4 were pass throughs with small entry and a quarter to 50 cent sized exit wound. Ranges were from 50 to 300 yards. Overall, I highly recommend for an awesome hunting round.
