Product Information

25 Cal .257 134 gr ELD® Match

ELD® Match (Extremely Low Drag Match) bullets are technologically advanced, enhanced accuracy target bullets featuring Heat Shield® tips with the PERFECT MEPLAT (tip point) combined with numerous design features that deliver the highest-in-class ballistic coefficients, superior accuracy and extreme consistency from bullet to bullet, lot to lot.

Superior accuracy and industry leading ballistic design has been achieved with the ELD Match bullet. An optimum secant ogive and boattail design along with the Heat Shield tip produce a bullet with the highest possible ballistic coefficient in its class.

  • BEST-IN-CLASS BCS:  The Heat Shield® tip is immune to the effects of aerodynamic heating and retains its shape to provide a perfect meplat (tip) that is always the same shape.
  • DELIVERS THE HIGHEST DEGREE OF ACCURACY AND CONSISTENCY.:  Streamlined secant ogive with optimum boattail design + highly concentric AMP® bullet jackets + Heat Shield® tip creates a supremely accurate, high BC match bullet.
  • ACCURATE, DOPPLER RADAR VERIFIED BCS:  ELD® Match bullet BCs are measured with Doppler radar and corrected to standard atmospheric conditions.
  • THE PERFECT TIP:  The new Heat Shield® tip creates the perfect meplat and outperforms BTHP bullets.

This is not loaded ammunition.

Long and sleek

By Joel J. on Sep 21, 2023
Received the box of 134 ELDM. Outstanding looking long and sleek bullet. Next step is to seat one in a dummy case and send to PBB for chambering my new prefit. Box arrived in immaculate condition and the bullets look great. Can't wait to get my fast twist barrel and start slinging these lazer beams. Thank you Grafs!

New hornady 25 Cal 134 grain Eld Match

By Aaron C. on Jun 26, 2023
So I loaded the first of these up as I shoot the Berger 135 grain LRHT in 25 Creedmoor and the berger 133 grain hunting bullet in 25 Sherman short tactical.

I tried these in the 25 Creedmoor and the velocity was one MPH off the 135s. I just duplicated my Berger load (I worked up and you should too) but these are much longer than the Bergers (seemed like I seated them .025 or .030” deeper than the berger 135s to sit with the same jump). They shot almost identical velocity and the accuracy was .25 MOA which is close to what I get with the Bergers.
That doesn’t mean they’re not as good as the Bergers as I didn’t work up a new load just tried to copy what I already had with the Berger load. I’ve got 700 of these and will develop a new load, but it’s a great sign that they performed almost identical to the Bergers at 100 yards.

Velocity was 2,898 ish w the Hornadys vs 2,897 with the Berger 135s. That’s in a 28” barrel for reference.

It is great to see 25 Cal get some love from Hornady in a heavy for caliber bullet!

Hornady? YES, please!

Finally! The much anticipated release of the quarter bore high twist, high BC Hornady ELDMs. I switched from Berger 109s to 109 ELDMs with no disappointment. This is the switch from Berger 135s to Hornady ELDMs in that caliber. I expect the same result as the previous switch. Thanks for getting these out there to fill the quarter bore void.
