This Flat Base Raptor™ was designed specifically for the .458 SOCOM. Instead of mushrooming, these hollow points are designed so that after 1-2" of penetration, 6 blades break off and radiate outward in a start pattern while the base continues on for even deeper penetration. A minimum impact velocity of 1400fps is required for the hollow point to function as intended.
