Speer 230 gr. CPRN

By John H. on Feb 23, 2024
These Speer bullets are a great value for plinking at the range. They weigh consistently, seat uniformly, and are fairly accurate. A few minor scratches & dents in the plating, but that’s to be expected when they’re dumped into a 500 round box & shipped. Same Speer quality as their TMJ bullet - but at much less the cost per bullet. Happy to see that Grafs has these back in stock!

Good value for Hard ball loads

Great bullets

Checked 10 bullets in the box all were weighed 230 gr. and were .451 in size. they were very accurate. Will buy them again.

Great target bullets

By Robert D. on Apr 04, 2020
These bullets perform superbly for me. I use them for range/target practice with all my .45 ACP pistols. They are easy to work with using standard reloading procedures, and can handle anything a .45 ACP load can dish out. I also like Berry’s bullets, but I prefer the .451 diameter of Speer plated bullets. They are cost effective, especially through Graf & Sons.

Brittle jacket

By J Thomas W. on Jan 22, 2016
If you are going to load these make sure you get a very good bell on the mouth, or the jacket will cut into the case, and then you have a mess. First run on these was 85% success and I was not pleased with some of those.
