Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

 Lapua Brass - 300 Norma Magnum

Very high quality brass in terms of consistency in weight and dimensions. Case preparation was very minimal, I used only an expansion mandrel and neck bushing for proper neck tension. Resulting loads produced excellent accuracy and ES of 8, SD of 3.5 over a sample of 5 shots during a ladder test of 15 different charges.

Lapua brass is the best, all 100 cases were within + - a grain in weight and dimensionally correct in length. The Lapua 300 Norma mag brass are the most accurate and have a long reloading life. The primer pockets are tight after numerous reloads.

I absolutely LOVE Lapua brass. I just bought 100 cases and they were uniform in weight to +- 1 grain. And, they give great accuracy and can take a beating in pressure without loosening the primer pockets.
