Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

260 Rem SRP

By Don B. on Dec 25, 2023
I am afraid to let the cat out of the bag and shoot myself in the foot in the supply availability. I have switched to using Alpha Munitions in all my precision brass needs. I have used all the other manufactures brass. I used to weigh my brass amongst other consistency procedures, with this brass I use as is for the first firing to fireform to 260AI. Midrange on the price and MADE IN THE USA! These have the .080 flash hole compared to Petersons with a smaller flash hole in their SRP brass. I will be doing a comparison between the two to see if there is any significant difference between small flash hole vs larger. My assumption is the smaller flash hole will allow higher pressures. May be a difference in using a mag primer for ball powders vs stick powders and standard primers.
