Product Information

The Leupold steel standard bases and rings are the most versatile of any mounting system we offer. The rear ring is secured by windage adjustment screws, allowing the scope's internal adjustments to be reserved for precise sight-in. Additionally, shims can be used for gross elevation adjustment, reserving the scope's elevation adjustment for bullet drop compensation dial applications.

 Leupold STD base for Rem 760

Needed to replace the horrendous Qwik- site see through scope mounts on an older 760 Rem Pump rifle for failing to maintain zero. With Leupolds STD base and rings it bought the scope to a more optimum height so the full field of view could be realized in an instant rather than shifting one's head away from the natural cheek-weld. The STD base also give greater latitude for horizontal sight-in adjustment by using the large adjustment screws which comes in handy when factory mounting holes are off or other tolerance issues with receiver and/ or barrel.
Torx hardware provided including the large windage screws- which the old slotted ones would get buggered up along with recommended torque settings.
