CCI Quiet segmented

This ammunition can be hard to find at times because production runs are short. It's accurate and hits hard with the 40 grain bullet and from what I have experienced it does come apart like advertised more often than not but the important thing to me is the minimal muzzle report.

squib round

I was shooting the round in a CZ452. One of the rounds made a slight puff sound and nothing visible downrange. I pulled the bolt and could not see through the barrel. The bullet was lodged about 2 inches from the muzzle. I imagine that in a different situation, the squib might not have been noticed. The load is very quiet and fun to shoot. The squib round negates all of the positives.

These are quieter than my air rifle being fired. Very efficient for dispatching ground squirrels in my yard. Neighbors just two doors away, tell me they never heard them at all when fired in my 20 inch lever gun.
