These offer a real hinge, allowing them to sit on the bench wide-open--unlike some annoying clamshell hinge designs. They are easy to open and close--unlike some designs with slip-on covers. The plastic material is high-quality, and they stack really well. Oh, and they're made in the U.S.A. and priced low--no excuse not to have a bunch of these!
