Product Information

Years ago, Ballistic Products developed this special combination of ingredients to handle the difficulties of steel and very large pellets. As an absolute success, Mix 47 has been used for all buffering applications since. Minimum pressure increase, maximum pattern density, and round pellets are the result with Mix 47. Mix 47 stabilizes steel shot pellets and keeps patterns dense, even under the stress of 1500 fps velocities!

 Good stuff! Works well

This BPi #47 buffer , their Standard buffer, and their ITX buffer are all top notch buffers and do their intended job perfectly. They produce better patterns without increasing overall pressures very much. All 3 buffers work just as good as the other imo. But I think the ITX and # 47 work a little better for big buckshot loads.
I believe the ITX buffer is nothing but #47 with mica lubricant added, although don’t quote me on that.
Good stuff and Grafs is awesome!
