Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

I really like Starline brass. This batch of 45-90 cases are absolutely amazing. I ran them all through the sizing die and they all came out uniformly at 2.400". I measured all 100 cases and most were exactly 2.400" with some only. 001" to .003" shorter. A very few were up to .002" longer. I have never seen a batch of new brass so perfectly uniform!
