Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

Good stuff

I’ve used Starline for years. It’s always been good. Only thing to make it better would be a lower price. We know that’s happening in the current climate. So buy it up while you can.

Starline .45acp nickel brass

This brass is as near perfect as I have ever seen. All I have to do is run them through the case mouth expander die. The primer pockets are all at the perfect depth and they're are no burrs on the inside. When I seat the primers all are recessed .003" to 005". The case length is very uniform at .895" on all of the cases. These are really awesome cases.

Nickel plated brass

primer pockets

The primer pockets are not uniform. Most are just tight which is good, but some are very tight and tighter on one side so the primer has to be really seated to get straight. Only the nickel brass is like this. Must have something to do with the process. It's not a deal breaker, but does throw my rhythm off when seating the primers.

Great brass

The ones I've checked so far have a greater consistency in OAL than any brass I've ever used. Looks great, feels great, works great. Never had a problem with Starline and I've been using it for years. Some claim other brass costing a lot more is better, but I doubt the improvement, if any, is worth the cost. For my money, best brass at any price.

Great brass nickel plating

Starline makes some of the best brass out there. All dimensions are to spec. All the ammo I load using this brass always passes my sizing gauge. Other brass can have too much wall thickness causing bulges.
